Friday 2 April 2010, 11am, Buda Farm, Chagford. Suitable for younger members, lead-rein and siblings welcome. Box parking in the lay-by just above drive to Buda, or at Tunnaford Cross. Cost £5.
Jumpcross Rally

Athletic Jumping Senior Rally

Dismounted Rally
Monday 12 April, 11am, Little Pinmoor Fm, Moretonhampstead: Cost £3. Details of the badges to be gained at this rally are below. Please have a look so you can mug up in advance!
For those with or working towards your E and D Tests *"Mini -Points of
Tack"* :- Make sure you learn where your Reins, Bit, Noseband, Throatlash and Browband are on your bridle. and where your Stirrup, Girth, Cantle, Pommel and Seat are on your saddle.

For those with or working towards their D+ and C Tests *"Perfect
Paddock"* and *"Poisonous Plants"* read your Manual of Horsemanship prior to attending the dismounted rally:- you will be covering:-
1) What is the best and safest type of fencing for your pony's field and other types of fencing available.
2) What is the best type of water supply.
3) Where in the field is the best place to put a shelter, what sort of shelter can you provide for your pony?
4) What should not be in the field?
5) When might your pony need hay in the field?
6) What do ponies need shelter from?
7) Which plants are Poisonous?

PLEASE BRING A PLANT POISONOUS TO HORSES WITH YOU, LABELED AND IN A
CLEAR PLASTIC BAG. remember to handle poisonous plants carefully, _always wear gloves as they may be equally as harmful to you.

Junior Cross Country Rally
Wednesday 2 June, Holwell Lawn, nr Manaton: on the mini course. Cost £10.
Senior Cross Country Rally
Thursday 3 June, Pontispool, nr Taunton: for those happy to jump over 2' 6". Cost £15.
